As a manufacturer of low energy lighting products, we have always taken our environmental responsibilities seriously and we are constantly looking for ways to achieve net reductions in carbon emissions, aiming for net zero by 2025.
Our ultimate goal is to go beyond this so that our business is impacting in a positive way on the environment.

In order to achieve our sustainability targets we are taking the following steps throughout the business:

• Continually measuring and monitoring energy usage and activities
• Reducing energy consumption and waste with the aim of achieving zero land-fill waste
• Increasing the use of renewable energy resources
• Employing electric fork lift trucks and picking vehicles in our warehouse
• Reducing travel by conducting meetings via Zoom where possible and employing electric / hybrid vehicles for our sales staff where travel is unavoidable
• Standardising components and interfaces to make it easier for them to be reused in the future
• Excluding components which prevent disassembly and designing new products with a ‘made to be made again’ ethos
• Offering a product refurbishment service
• Re-using packaging, where possible, and reducing the amount of packaging we use
• Aiming to eliminate the use of single-use plastics
• 3D printing components in-house
• Investing in innovative energy-efficient technology
• Managing our supply chain to ensure we use environmentally responsible suppliers
