News / Gamma Presents at Remanufacturing Conference

Gamma’s Design Director Andrew Nixon’s well-received presentation at the recent Recolight Remanufacturing Lighting Conference demonstrated how manufacturers, their clients and end-users can all reap the benefits of reworking old luminaires instead of buying new.

Andrew used Gamma’s Jesmond United Reformed Church, Newcastle-upon-Tyne case study to demonstrate how returning original luminaires to the manufacturer for reworking can give the end user a more efficient luminaire, costing considerably less than buying new, whilst maintaining good margins for the manufacturer and saving components and materials from being scrapped or unnecessarily recycled.
