National Sales Manager (UK Distributors)

We are looking for a sales professional to develop business and sell into the UK electrical wholesaler and lighting specialist community, supporting them with their own projects, needs and opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • introducing and presenting our company profile, products, technologies and services to grow our existing loyal customer base and prospect network.
  • managing and leading sales and marketing activities to increase brand awareness, with a view to attracting new customers and business opportunities.
  • developing business relationships by managing and maintaining national distribution partnerships and agreements.

You will be working closely with internal sales, support and marketing staff, as well as communicating with engineering and design teams on custom products and industry feedback.


Required skills:

  • Lighting background / experience
  • Positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Good business sense
  • Great at account development
  • Understanding of marketing principles
  • Understanding of Microsoft office, SAGE and CRM systems
  • Plenty of initiative and confidence
  • Good social skills and sense of humour


The role will include frequent travel, therefore a full valid UK driving licence is essential.

Working hours will need to be flexible due to travelling and entertaining.
