Many of the luminaires in our range are now available with the option of antimicrobial powder coated finishes. The paint features additives which are 99.9% effective in preventing the growth of bacteria, biofilm, mould and viruses that may land on or be transferred to the product.

This technology was designed for use in hygiene-critical environments such as clean rooms, hospitals and care homes or areas with high levels of human traffic, including schools, airports and changing rooms. It is also increasingly being employed to provide peace of mind in less demanding applications where fittings may need to be cleaned, touched or adjusted.
