Rudding Park Hotel

Gamma helped luxury hotel decide that the time was right for LED

Rudding Park Hotel is a privately owned Grade 1 listed Regency building offering exclusive conference and banqueting facilities, spa and golf course. It is widely regarded as Yorkshire’s Premier Hotel and Golf Resort.

Gamma was asked to establish if the time was right to transition from traditional light sources to LED.

Payback analysis was carried out to compare LED lighting with both low voltage and compact fluorescent fittings. Subsequently, Gamma’s Sysion RE LED downlights were chosen to provide ambient lighting down the corridors. To create an inviting and cosy ambience in the bedrooms, narrow and wide beam Syncro luminaires were installed to provide directional lighting on the interior features.

“It was our responsibility to make sure the products that we specified were economically viable and met with the client’s specification criteria. Once Gamma Illumination had carried out its payback analysis the results spoke for themselves and the Syncro and Sysion fittings were chosen as the best solution.”
