New Technical Manager at Gamma Illumination
Gamma has further expanded the Design and Development team with the appointment of Andrew Newman as Technical Manager.
Andrew joins Gamma with 7 years’ experience of the lighting industry which he gained as Applications Engineer, Project Applications Engineer and Deputy Applications Manager at Cooper Lighting and Safety.
Andrew’s position as Technical Manager sees him taking responsibility for thermal and photometric testing along with technical training, legislation compliance, product standards and WEEE requirements.
Andrew commented: “After spending a number of years in the applications environment at Cooper Lighting and Safety I felt ready for a new challenge, it was then that I saw that Gamma were looking to recruit a Technical Manager. I was delighted to be offered the position and I’m looking forward to working with such a dedicated and professional team as well as being a part of the future development of the business.”
