Greggs Goes LEDs
Gamma LEDs help Greggs save some dough CLICK HERE
Recession-busting bakers, Greggs, have opted to install Gamma's Great White LED downlights in their new out-of-town stores to help make huge savings on the company's energy bills and the first LED equipped store is at Bingley in West Yorkshire.
Using LED light sources instead of low voltage for spotlights can result in energy savings of up to 80% without any compromise on performance.
In addition, they are able to take advantage of the Sysion luminaires' specially tuned Food option, which has been specifically designed to enhance the red, green & gold colours in fresh food to make it even more appealing to customers and it seems to be going down a treat!
The Sysion RE has the additional advantage of having the reflector completely sealed to the LED unit to prevent any debris from the ceiling void entering the luminaire or passing through into the store. An IP54 sealed glass and Twist/Lock bezel are also fitted to prevent insects and dust entering the luminaire from below resulting in less need for the luminaires to undergo regular cleaning.
