About Us

• Gamma Illumination is a privately owned company and was founded in 1992.

• Based at our purpose-built 30,000 sq ft factory in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, we manufacture a wide range of high quality luminaires for retail, commercial and leisure environments.

• Our Design and Development team work closely with lamp and control gear manufacturers to create luminaires which exploit the full potential of the latest advancements in lighting technology, making them available to the end user.

• All our products undergo rigorous thermal and electrical testing in our laboratory before being approved for production.

• Custom-designed and manufactured workstations, each equipped with Clare multi-function testing equipment, ensure that manufacturing quality can be monitored constantly at every stage of production.

Our Training Centre is used equally for detailed demonstrations to clients and their design teams, along with staff training seminars, focusing on all aspects of advanced lamp and gear development. Presentations can range from demonstrations of lamp colour temperature, intended to promote an awareness of product enhancement, to rapid connection and control systems designed for lighting installations that feature remote RF networks, 1-10V / digital dimming or DALI networks.

Gamma Illumination is a member of the Martech Group of companies. We take our responsibilities towards the environment very seriously and as such are members of Lumicom, the Lighting Industry Federation's initiative to aid the lighting industry in compliance with the requirements of the WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) legislation.
